FAQs

Can I return my router at a different airport?
Yes. The pre-paid return envelope is valid nationwide. You can mail it from any post office box in Japan, including those at different major airport terminals.
What happens if I lose or damage the device?
Standard terms charge replacement fees (~$150 to $300 USD) for lost routers. It is highly recommended to add the basic "peace of mind" insurance coverage (usually $1/day) during checkout.
How long does the battery last on a single charge?
Generally, pocket Wi-Fi batteries last between 8 to 12 hours of active use. We recommend bringing a portable power bank during long day trips, or renting a WiFiBOX, which features a built-in power bank.
Is the data usage truly unlimited?
Yes, most pocket Wi-Fi rental providers offer unlimited high-speed data. However, extreme data hogging (e.g. over 3GB-10GB in a single day) may trigger temporary carrier speed throttling under Fair Usage Policies.
Can I connect multiple laptops or work remotely?
Absolutely. Pocket Wi-Fi acts as a standard local hot-spot network, making it excellent for working remotely on multiple laptops, tablets, or phones without compatibility issues.
